Partnerships
EFU and EMBL Join Forces
16 June 2026
The new cooperation between EFU and EMBL strengthens international scientific exchange. Joint projects promote innovation in research, education, and medical communication.
The European Foundation for Urology (EFU) collaborates with the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) to support and nurture promising early-career scientists from developing and emerging economies. At present, the EFU is sponsoring a young researcher from Cameroon undertaking a three-month fellowship at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) in Cambridge, United Kingdom.
The objective of this partnership is to establish similar fellowship opportunities in the fields of surgical and/or oncological training for young professionals from other countries, while also facilitating their participation in international educational events, such as the Semi-Live programme.
